Don't. Make. A sound. Every step forward has to be perfect, or the wrong board could creak and send those eyes from the shadows flashing towards you. Survivors must play cards that match each Hallway card to move forward without making any noise. Of course, you can't get cards without searching around and making more noise. If there are two rings of noise exactly the same size the monster will freeze, so you could coordinate with someone else down the hall, but if betray you, the maw of the beast is waiting. Search for a hiding spot, make a distraction, or shove someone over, whatever it takes to be the first person out the door to safety. —description from the designer
