About

Diables is a mid-heavy eurogame designed by Dani Garcia for 1–4 players in which you lead a colla in the spectacular Mediterranean tradition of the Ball de Diables. Manage your troupe of performers, coordinate different types of fireworks, and adapt to evolving events to stage the most breathtaking street performances. Carefully plan your actions to captivate the crowd, build momentum across the parade, and earn the highest prestige. A game of Diables is played over 3 rounds, each divided into 4 phases: Performances: Players take turns sending their performers into the streets to carry out actions and engage the crowd. This is the core of the game, where key decisions are made. Passage of Time: The time marker advances, intermediate scoring is resolved, and carts are refilled with new fireworks. Advance the Parade: Crowd cards move forward along the streets, and performers return to players’ boards, ready for the next round. Attract the Crowd: New crowd cards are added to each street, bringing fresh opportunities and challenges. Balance timing, resource management, and positioning to outshine rival colles and deliver the most unforgettable performances. —description from the publisher
