ELI Tree is a board game for children AND adults. 2-5 players can participate, and a round lasts a little over half an hour, depending on the players' skill and the luck of the draw. With four players, it's recommended to play in two teams, while with 2, 3, or 5 players, everyone plays against everyone else. The unique idea behind ELI Tree is that every player can move any tree across the board. This means the outcome of the game can suddenly and unexpectedly change. Furthermore, all ELI Trees are the same color. Thanks to the 40 event cards, the gameplay remains varied and exciting. Whether you're catching up to the next tree, stealing a tree, changing direction, or using a joker, caution is still advised, as ELI might fall into a deep tree sleep and have to sit out. But don't worry, since every player can move any tree across the board, there's no standstill. The number cards (those playing cards that aren't event cards) indicate how many spaces an ELI can move on the board. The goal of the game is to bring four ELI trees to safety in your own target zone. —description from the designer
