About

Quero-quero (Gimme-gimme) is a card game developed for small children, starting at 3 years old. The deck consists of 36 cards representing six Brazilian endangered animal species in six different colours with one to six animals per card. As cards are displayed on the table, children need to associate cards by animal, colour or quantity in order to take as many cards as possible. When the deck runs out, the child with the biggest card collection wins the match. It is important that the child announce his/her move saying "gimme-gimme the panther", to take all panther cards; "gimme-gimme the blues", to take all blue cards; or "gimme-gimme the fours" to take all cards with four animals. As the child grows, new rules add complexity to the game, making it more tactical, as the child receives objective cards. In that case, cards matching the objectives will give him/her extra points. —description from the publisher
