About

Description from the designer: You are an American F-4 pilot shot down behind enemy lines during the Vietnam War. Wounded and disoriented, you must make your way to safety before the North Vietnamese Army captures you. (Based on a true story.) "1972: The Lost Phantom" is a free print-and-play solitaire, map-making, survival game focused on a realistic immersion into a narrative of being shot down behind enemy lines. It's the 3rd in the xx72 line of 1-page micro games. The game consists of 1 Player Sheet (disposable) and 5 pages of rules, all in a black and white low ink format. It takes 10-30 seconds to set up a game. The inspiration for this game comes from B-17: Queen of the Skies and Source of the Nile. This game won 2nd place as best Tactical Scale game and 2nd place for best Short/Quick/Small game in the 2016-2017 Wargame PnP Contest.
