Art Museum is an art-themed reinterpretation of the famous Game of Goose for up to 6 players. In the game, each player traverses through an art museum, attempting to be the first to collect their designated art piece along the way and display it in the main gallery. Each player plays as one of the following historical painter pawns: Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, Andy Warhol, Vincent van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, and Banksy. The game is a simple roll and move game where you roll a numbered die and move that many spaces. Landing on a space with painting on it after a roll allows you to move to the next painting space and roll again. If you land on a space that depicts your artist's painting, you collect it and save it for the end of the game. There are various other spaces that have different effects (e.g., a bathroom space that makes players lose 2 turns if they land on it) Once you reach the end, you need to land on space 60 by exact count, or land on the painting on space 58, which automatically transports you to the main gallery. If you're the first to reach the gallery and have already collected your painting, you automatically win. If you reach the gallery and you don't have your painting yet, you need to roll a yellow artist die until the die shows the face of your artist pawn in order to collect your painting and win.
