Battlestations: Lightspeed

A standalone board game that puts you and your friends on amazing adventures in space. Your characters move about and activate the battlestations of a starship and your starship moves on the hex map. There is simultaneous shipboard and ship to ship action. Lightspeed is cooperative. There is no enemy player. Each of the 12 missions runs itself with a simple algorithm (mindless bugs attack you, enemy crew follow a checklist to run their own ship, etc.) The setup is less than 5 minutes. Each mission takes about half an hour to play. This reimplementation of the epic Battlestations game leaves out much of the complexity of the original making it lighter and faster. —description from the designer
