About this game

Dash for First is a fast, interactive racing card game. Every turn, you roll 5 Engine Dice and aim for the best Sprint Pattern. Play it safe, push your luck for a bigger move, or use well-timed cards to slow rivals and take the lead. Whenever Cars end up in the same space, they immediately duel for track position. The first player to reach or pass the Finish wins the race. —description from back of box FAST TABLETOP RACE Build the track, choose your car, draw Tactics Cards, and race toward the finish in a quick tabletop contest that is easy to start. DICE-DRIVEN SPRINTS Roll 5 Engine Dice, keep useful results, and re-roll up to 2 times before choosing a Sprint Pattern to move on the track. TACTICS CARD CHOICES Use Tactics Cards to adjust movement, respond to rivals, protect your position, or set up a stronger turn at the right time. TRACK DUELS & EVENTS Cars that meet on the same space can trigger a quick duel, while optional Event Cards add changing race moments.
