Breya stands at the precipice of change. The power of the Primordials who once ruled the land has faded, and the fledgling mortals have begun to grow in power. Each of the four prominent peoples of Breya have positioned themselves to succeed, but only one can ascend to complete hegemony over Breya... Dawn of Breya is an area control game set in an original high-fantasy world, where players vie for hegemony over the land of Breya. Players will control one of four unique factions, each with their own history and strategy. Players will expand their territory and bolster their military, carefully managing their usage and harvesting of resources, utilizing them in numerous ways in a turn. Expansion and exploitation of the land comes at a cost, however, as the abundant heartland territories at the center of Breya not only risk conflict with other players, but with the ancient beings that lurk in the heartland of Breya. The combat between the players and fearsome Primordials is the climax of the game, with the players setting aside their differences in order to stand a chance against the powers of the Primordial they awakened. Each game will have branching paths in map construction, secret objectives, unique leaders, and the Primordials that are encountered. Each playthrough presents new challenges and features a tenuous balance between competition in territory expansion and collaboration in defeating mighty Primordials. —description from the publisher
