About

Dracovalis is a game about dragons attacking, capturing, and destroying cities. The players send dragons to attack or defend cities in order to control as many cities as possible. Players can also cast spells to strengthen the beasts. Aside from the pure joy of burning your friend's cities down or forcing his dragon to turn tail and run, Dracovalis features simultaneous play, so you'll be guessing where your opponent will go every turn. During your turn, you will secretly decide what towns you wish to attack, or which of your towns are vulnerable and need defending. Once all players have decided, everyone moves simultaneously and the battles begin. Combat is resolved through a simple multi-round dice-pool mechanic that feels like combat and resolves quickly. You will have a limited number of spells that you can cast during your turn, and the spells can be cast in multiple ways. Will you burn many spell components to ensure your spell goes off properly, or will you risk spell failure to hold some components in reserve? At the game end, the player who controls the most territory wins.
