Figure This Out!

In Figure This Out!, players compete to decipher a hidden phrase, idiom, brand name, movie title, or expression from a sequence of icons alone. Each round, one player reveals the icon side of a Puzzle Card to the rest of the group, along with the number of words in the answer and its category. The other players race to guess the phrase the icons represent. If nobody solves it within the allotted time, the card reader flips the card over and reads Hint 1, an indirect clue; if the puzzle is still unsolved, the reader gives Hint 2, a more direct description of what the icons point to. Answers are not limited to single words, so an icon sequence can represent a full phrase, such as "International House of Pancakes" or "It's Raining Cats and Dogs." Correct guesses are scored based on how many hints were used: 3 points with no hints, 2 after Hint 1, 1 after Hint 2, and a 1-point penalty for an incorrect guess. Play can be timed for an added challenge. The card-reader role passes to the next player each round, and the game supports both individual and team play. -description from designer
