About

"What is the setting? The game is set in a whimsical, dream-like world where dogs and cats form a marching band. The original conductor has fallen ill, and the players are asked to step in as substitute conductors to organize the band’s formation for an upcoming marching band competition. Depending on the chosen mode, the players either work together to achieve a high score or compete against each other. What is the goal? The goal is to place cards to form a 5×5 grid and score points by creating specific card combinations (“hands”) in each row and column. In Competitive Mode, players compare their scores, and the higher score wins. In Cooperative Mode, players combine their scores and aim for a high total score. How do you play? Players take turns placing one card adjacent to already placed cards, without breaking the 5×5 grid shape. One player is responsible for columns (vertical scoring) and the other for rows (horizontal scoring). As cards become surrounded on two sides, they are flipped face up. When all cards have been placed, the game ends and scoring begins. Points are calculated for each row and column based on instrument combinations, with bonus points awarded for sets sharing the same attributes (such as costume color or animal type). An additional diagonal scoring rule applies, and optional special cards can be added in competitive mode for more advanced play." -from the publisher
