About

Ancient wargame from the Mapuche people of southern Chile. From the publisher: "The literary translation of this game refers to the 5 sides of the dice made of stone (Kechukawe). Considering that the Mapuches were a warrior people, it is not strange for them to have games, which represented battlefields. This is a game played only by men, who have the counters called Kona (soldiers) to conquer the enemy's field. Chance, which appears when throwing the dice, is nothing else but gods' will which, by the swing of the Kechukawe (or the wheel of fortune, as it might be called today), is indicating the fate of the rival players."
