About this game

In LULO Caves, players simultaneously build their own underground cave systems by placing path tiles as quickly as possible. Each tile must connect both cave passages and rock formations correctly, and once placed, it cannot be moved. After using all tiles in hand, players immediately draw new ones, keeping everyone building continuously without waiting for turns. Cave passages descend deeper into the mountain as they extend. Passages may tunnel beneath a single tile but become dead ends if buried beneath multiple layers. Some tiles contain green emeralds and must be placed on an opponent's cave, creating opportunities to interfere with other players while continuing to excavate your own. When all tiles have been placed, incorrectly placed tiles are removed before scoring. Mushroom chambers score according to how deep they are located within the cave system, rewarding careful planning and efficient routing. The player with the most points wins. —description from the publisher
