About this game
From the back cover: Medieval Warhawks has: 50 treasure cards, 10 player cards, 6 playing pieces, 6 treasure chests, 2 six-sided dice, 25 damage tokens, and can be played on any terrain! --- Originally a miniatures-like game, with a cute little movement ruler marked with footsteps, an expansion provided modular square grid boards. Each player is a different character with different abilities. Fight each other, get to a treasure chest and draw a treasure card (which may give you magic spells, treasure-as-VP, or monsters to fight), and get home with your treasure. Uses pawns for characters, but little toy treasure chests instead of cardboard chits.
