About this game

Oligo is an economic strategy game where players build their own business empires. The goal is to become the wealthiest player by making shrewd investments, managing resources, and navigating a dynamic market. The game simulates a full business cycle, from acquiring raw materials and producing goods to selling them for profit. Players must make strategic decisions about which industries to invest in, when to buy and sell resources, and how to react to market fluctuations caused by dice rolls and event cards. Key mechanics include resource management, dice rolling to determine production and market prices, auctioning for valuable assets, and trading among players. The objective is to increase your starting capital through successful business operations. The player with the most assets (cash and company value) at the end of the game wins.
