About this game

This is Milton Bradley game #4046, The Game of Checko, 1938. Object is to skillfully place CHECKS on the CHECKO Board so that each row horizontally, vertically and diagonally will produce the highest score possible. There are 8 CHECKO boards, 8 sets of colored CHECKS, each set having four of each number, 1 to 13. 1 Deck of CHECKO cards, four of each number, 1 to 13. CHECKO boards consist of 5 rows and columns. Score for each row, column and both diagonals as: 2 checks alike in a row = 1 point 2 sets of two checks alike in a row = 2 points 3 checks alike in a row = 3 points sequence or any run of five checks in a row = 5 points 3 checks alike and 2 checks alike in a row = 7 points 4 checks alike in a row = 12 points add one point for a score made diagonally.
