Inferno: Collector’s Edition brings together Inferno, Inferno: 1348, Papal Bulls, Plutus & Phlegyas, and Virgil, Charon & Lucifer in a single deluxe box. Conceived as the definitive edition of Inferno, it combines the complete game system with exclusive modules, additional gameplay content, and extensively upgraded components. Inferno In Inferno, players lead rival Families competing to become the most infamous in medieval Florence and the underworld beneath it. In Florence, Family Members visit Locations, gather resources, expand their Towers, and accuse Sinners. Below the city, their ancestors guide the Souls of the condemned through the nine circles of Hell, seeking to deliver each one to the punishment reserved for its Sin. Every turn links both worlds. During the Hell Phase, a player moves a Soul deeper into Hell. Its destination determines where that player may act during the Florence Phase. The Family with the most Infamy at the end of the game wins. Inferno: 1348 Inferno: 1348 brings the Black Death to Florence through a collection of standalone modules, ranging from small additions to major new systems. Players can combine these modules as they wish to shape the complexity and style of each game. • The Great Pestilence: The plague spreads across Florence, infecting Locations and filling the city with Rats. Families must face Misfortunes, adapt to changing actions, and decide whether the creatures climbing their Scaffolds are a burden or an opportunity. • Merchants of Ravenna: This module extends the game beyond Florence with a new board. Players send Family Members east to claim Pacts, forge Alliances and gain asymmetric abilities. • Builders: This module introduces Alabaster floors that create new combos. Centaurs, Edicts, new Fraud cards, and double-sided Locations add further variety and replayability. • Solo Challenges: Inferno: 1348 also includes three additional Challenges for solo play, each with its own setup changes, restrictions, objectives, and three difficulty levels. Additional Expansions and Exclusive Content Papal Bulls, Plutus & Phlegyas, and Virgil, Charon & Lucifer expand the game even further. • Plutus, Phlegyas, Charon, and Lucifer complete the Council of Guardians, increasing their number from six to ten. Each introduces a different way to manipulate the movement, order, or fate of Souls in Hell. • Papal Bulls and The Encounter: Papal Bulls grant their bearers exceptional privileges, allowing them to bend or bypass established rules. The Encounter introduces Virgil and an alternative ending in which he climbs through Hell as Dante descends, bringing the game to an end when the two poets finally meet. • Exclusive mini expansions: The Kingdom of Rats Temptations New Edicts, contains 4 Edicts of Penance + 4 Edicts of Restraint • Further exclusive content: 2 new Family cards 2 Alliances 2 Ravenna Pacts 4 additional Papal Bulls created specifically for this edition Deluxe Components The Collector’s Edition includes extensive component upgrades: 2 three-dimensional Walls of Dis, one for games with one or two players and another for games with three or four players + 20 Spires in the player colors Miniatures for all 10 Guardians 66 Guardian-specific three-dimensional PVC elements Double-layered boards Double-sided screen-printed meeples Three-dimensional Rats Numerous other component upgrades —description from the publisher
