About

The stand-alone sequel to Siberian Manhunt, Manchurian Manhunt picks up where the first game left off. After crash-landing his U-2 spy plane in Siberia and slipping across the border into China, pilot Jack Mackenzie now faces an even deadlier gauntlet: evading Chinese and North Korean forces as he fights his way through Manchuria and across the sea to the safety of South Korea. Manchurian Manhunt is an asymmetrical hidden movement game for two players. One player steps into Jack's boots as the Fugitive — hunted, desperate, and relying on wits alone. He must use his wits to navigate the dangerous landscape, survive encounters with predatory animals, and avoid starvation and hypothermia, all while being pursued by Chinese agents. The game introduces new translation mechanics handling encounters in North Korea (Jack doesn't speak much Korean!) and boat mechanics for crossing the dangerous Yellow Sea. The other player commands the full might of the People's Republic of China as a Chinese general with one objective: capture or kill the Fugitive. A deadly new arsenal of agents, weapons, and strategies is at their disposal. The cunning Commando stalks the jungle ahead of the Fugitive's path, laying traps before they even arrive. Marines, armed with heavy weapons, and can pursue the Fugitive across the sea. Manchurian Manhunt builds on the acclaimed Manhunt System from Siberian Manhunt, expanding it in bold new directions to deliver another pulse-pounding Cold War adventure of pursuit, survival, and escape. —description from the publisher
