Acerca de
Sashiko is a card game inspired by the traditional Japanese embroidery technique of the same name. At the beginning of the game, each player draws four cards and places them diagonally to form the framework of their personal 4 × 4 grid. Taking turns, players gradually complete their grid by either drawing two cards, keeping one and discarding the other, or by taking a card directly from the discard pile. Each card features a number from 1 to 9 and belongs to one of the game's four colors. Once every grid is complete, players check the combinations they have created in each row, each column, and each of the four 2 × 2 corner sections of their grid: matching numbers, four cards of the same color, or four consecutive numbers. The bottom edge of every card shows its current score value. Each card that belongs to a combination is rotated a quarter turn clockwise, increasing its score value. A card can be rotated up to three times: once for its row, once for its column, and once for its corner section, increasing its score value from 0, to 1, to 3, and finally to 6 points. Finally, players add together the visible score values on their sixteen cards. The player with the highest total score wins. —description from the designer
