Selección Natural (Natural Selection) is a competitive game, where you must evolve to survive in a changing world. Choose your creature, and help it to thrive, mutating and evolving into an species better adapted to the environment. This task won´t be easy, as you will face several obstacles, from predators and diseases that may decimate the population, to sudden changes in the environment that will force you to adapt. And if that wasn´t enough, other species are also fighting for survival, thus creating a race for becoming the first one to evolve or to reach a population that dominates over the other species. Each player starts with a Level 1 Species Card, and three cards in their hand. On your turn, you will take a card from the Mutations & Events Deck, and you will play a card from your hand. It could be a mutation that allows you to increase your population, or an event card that affects your creature or your enemies´. After each player has played a card, mutations are checked. If your mutation matches the current Biome, your population increases. If both mutations are active, congrats! Your creature evolves to Level 2. The game ends when any species reaches the critical population, or evolves to lvl3.
