The Journey TCG is an indie, story-driven trading card game heavily inspired by classic retro tabletop RPGs. It stands out immediately for its nostalgic, pixelated art style and tactical, party-focused gameplay. Lore & Setting The game takes place in a world changed by a nightmare vision known as "The Omen"—a collective dream forced upon everyone while the world slept. To fight back against the mysterious entity behind the vision, known as The Nightking, heroes from all walks of life unite. Core Gameplay Mechanics 3v3 Party Combat: Instead of summoning vast armies, players build a core squad of 3 Adventurers to battle their opponent. 8 Character Classes: You assemble your party from distinct RPG archetypes, such as Dark Mages, Berserkers, Strategists, and Bards. Tactical Synergy: Gameplay revolves around class abilities, equipment, and managing dynamic combat strategies to defeat the enemy team.
