Breakaway Football: Dynasty is a solo (and light multiplayer) tabletop game where you take the reins of a pro football franchise as its General Manager and run it across many seasons. Each year splits into two loops. In the off-season, you work through a series of quick mini-games: hire and fire coaches, scout and draft rookies, navigate tiered free agency, manage contracts and a hard salary cap, and set your goals with the owner. Players develop, age, and eventually retire, and your cap decisions follow you for years — so the roster you build is genuinely *yours*, shaped by every choice you've made. Then you play the season. Each game resolves through one of two engines: Watchv, a card-driven, drive-by-drive mode for when you want to feel the game unfold (~10 min), or Roll, a fast dice-and-chart mode for routine matchups (~3 min). Your coaches, roster grades, and star players feed directly into both. Wrapped around all of it is a storyline system — holdouts, locker-room feuds, owner interference, aging cores, hot seats. These emerge from your actual roster and results, giving the franchise a personality that shifts season over season. Win now or build for the future; every decision compounds.
