About

Colour Scapes is an addictive easy to learn and hard to master tile-placing game suitable for 5+ whilst also being great fun to play in the pub with mates or at your game night. Players take it in turns drawing a tile from the bag and deciding whether to play it on their grid or on the grid of an opponent. The aim of the game is to have the most of your colour on your own grid, with bonus points available for columns and/or rows of your colour and/or being the first to complete your grid. Colour Scapes can be played in solo mode or up to four players competing to get the most of their colour on their grid whilst also competing for Bonus Points for going out first and for completing colours and/or rows of their colour. Each tile is comprised of a combination of one or more of red, green, yellow or blue in quadrants with black quadrants being the hero of the hour and are able to be played as any colour. That’s it, that’s all you need to know to play Colour Scapes. What takes a little longer to learn is how to play Colour Scapes well. Do you play this tile to score some easy points or do you interfere with the column that your opponent is dangerously close to completing? Do you risk creating a ‘dead space’ with this black tile just for the chance to get a little closer to finishing first? Try it and find your own way to play. —description from the publisher
