De Sang et de Tourbe
Florent Coupeau , Jean-Philippe Gury (2014)
About
De Sang et de Tourbe (Of Blood & Peat) is a wargame about the conquest of Estonia by the Sword Brothers in the early XIIIth century. It includes a rules booklet of 12 pages, 108 counters, one A3 map. The players (one Estonian and one Sword Brother) first calculate their ressources points (PR). Then starting with the player who won the initiative, the players can buy stratagems that will influence the game. They can also buy reinforcements with these PRs. With their remaining PRs, both players can alternately launch raids or conquests of the enemy territories. The game ends when Riga is taken by the Estonians, when all Estonian has fallen under the Sword Brothers rule or at the end of the last turn (year 1225).
