Acerca de

Mission Success is a Monopoly-inspired real estate trading game created by J. Lyons and themed around the master-planned community of Mission Viejo, California during its early years of development. Players purchase local businesses and community landmarks, collect payments from opponents who land on their properties, and attempt to build complete business groups to increase their income. Instead of houses and hotels, players develop their holdings by acquiring colored business discs and hospitals. Traditional Chance and Community Chest cards are replaced by Risk and Opportunity cards, while railroads and utilities are represented by Mission Viejo businesses and services. The board features numerous Mission Viejo businesses, civic organizations, recreational facilities, and community institutions from the city's formative years, making the game both a property trading game and a snapshot of the community's commercial landscape at the time of publication. Designed for 2–4 players, the last player remaining solvent is declared the winner.
