About

Spellweaver is a cooperative fantasy hero builder for 1-4 players. Players progress through 10 floors of the fortress of the goddess of knowledge, Glyth. The goal is to create a spellcasting hero worthy of representing the goddess in a war between the gods. Each floor of the game is split into two phases- the combat phase, where players play against NPCs to prove their worthiness to continue, and the explore phase, where they search for new spell tomes from 20 different schools of magic. Players learn spells from these schools and can spellweave with the spells they've learned, creating unique hybrid spells. Players win if they defeat the final bosses on the final floor of the fortress and lose if they are killed along the way. Characters created by players can continue to be used in PvP combat following the primary game. Spellweaver features 180 base spells representing 20 different schools of magic, 500 unique hybrid spells, 16 playable classes, and 8 different competing factions to fight against. -description from designer
