Acerca de

The game is named after Wolfheze, a village in the Netherlands. A part of Operation Market Garden happened in this area. It consists of a game board printed on thin cardboard. In addition, players need 2d6, paper and pencil, and some markers and playing pieces. On a turn, a player can choose between rolling the dice and flying. When rolling the dice, the player places a playing piece on a field marked with the resulting number. If that field is occupied, the current piece can be moved to an adjacent field. Instead of rolling the dice, a player can decide to fly, taking one of their stones off the board and placing it on any free field. When a vertical column is completely full, the player with most pieces in that column scores points. When a player has placed all their pieces on the board, there is a scoring round, and pieces on certain fields score positive (village fields) or negative (war fields) points. After the second such scoring round, the game ends and the player with most points is the winner.
