Mt. Everest
About this game
Players each climb a different face on the pyramid shaped, "3-D" mountain, rolling the die in a race to the summit. The climbers have magnets in their boots (base), so they stick to the metalicized mountain as they advance. A roll of six causes an avalanche (lose a turn). There are a couple of shortcuts available on each route, but it takes a exact dice roll to cross them. The game comes with a 16 page booklet that contains photographs and information about Everest, including the successful summit by Edmund Hillary and sherpa Norkay Tensing just two years prior to the game's publication
