Haiduci is a strategy and negotiation game set in the Balkans in the early 19th century, a time when empires, national movements, and foreign powers clashed for control of the region. Players take on the roles of factions with secret objectives who must forge temporary agreements to trigger combinations of political, military, and revolutionary actions. Each player embodies a Leader with their own victory objectives (territorial occupation, influence).
