About
Based on the board game of the same name, Tiny Homes: the Card Game sees players designing their own custom tiny house, this time with a tableau of cards. The goal of the game is to score the most points from your home tableau which consists of house Features and Activities. The oversized deck consists of: - 42 features (parts of a tiny home, such as "Kitchen" or "Bedroom") of varying quality (7 Features numbered from 2-7) - 28 Activity cards (things you can do in your tiny home if you have the two required features, such as "Tabletop Gaming" or "Pickling and Canning") Feature cards score based on their quality number (only one of each Feature will score the rest are discarded). Activities score based on the point values of their required Features. For instance, if your house has a 4 bedroom and a 5 kitchen, then the "Breakfast in Bed" activity card will be worth 9 points in your Tableau. Players start the game with two cards. Each round they discard a facedown card from their hand to bid for a pair of cards from the showroom (the centre of the table), each round adding one extra to their hand size. When a player has collected all 7 Features, they may play down their hand and end the game, then all players homes scores are calculated. LIke the board game, the game encourages optimizing your home tableau, packing as much as you can into a small space. -description from designer
