You are the head of a Corporation, leading a mission 3.5 billion light-years from Earth to explore and chart the distant Alcyoneus Galaxy. During the game you will build a Starship to explore the galaxy, expand your Space Base to gain points and benefits, make a contraption to give you resources, come up with Innovations to bend the rules of the game, fulfil Achievements and reach end game Goals to score points. There are many paths you can take to victory. There are five actions, each with three options depending on how much you wish to pay. If you can't afford to pay for an action you can use the free option, but this will let all the other players perform a reaction. The game ends when all the sectors of the galaxy have been explored, putting the players in control of the length of the game. Finish with the most points and you win. —description from the designer
